A little more about me

kimberry531 wanted her f-list to answer. I moved it here because I have added a fair few new people recently, and thought it may be of interest =)
Name: Lauren
Age: 20 (I almost wrote 19...)
General Location: Australia
Are you a student? Yep.
If so, where? What do you study? Do you live on campus? what is your school like life compared to your home life?
If not, what are you doing? Just hanging? Working? Taking a break?
I'm studying music (classical violin). I still live at home, and plan to continue that as long as I can =P
I take performance, music history/theory/composition, Indonesian and Gamelan Studies (Indonesian gong orchestra) Most of them are a lot of fun.
Do you have a or or multiple jobs? One job.
If so, what are they? I work in a pharmacy, 'pharmacy assistant' is technically my title.
What is Harry Potter to you?
A brilliant series of books that I always enjoy rereading. Read the first 4 in one go, then devoured each new one in under a day when they came out XD
Planning on going to the midnight release of the next movie - the first time I'll have gone to the midnight release of anything.
What is your favorite color, animal, book, film, food, drink IN THAT ORDER?
Green.
Don't particularly have one, oddly enough. I have two cute dogs though - and I'm not a cat person.
Vanishing Acts - Jodi Picoult, but there are many many many that I love reading and rereading.

Do you play any instruments?
Aside from violin, (duh!) I learnt piano for 10 years, and have just recently started playing the viola in orchestra.

I'm not, no.
What's a dream of yours?
To be in a professional orchestra. To travel via my violin playing. And many other random ones.
What do you like to do when you have some spare time?
Chat on msn, read, watch movies/tv series, just hang out with friends.
What television shows does your life stop for? Why?
At the moment Packed to the Rafters. Just because it's awesome.
Glee and Big Bang Theory should go without saying XD
What element do you feel your personality correlates with, and why?
I never know how to answer this question.
If you're HiH, why do you identify with your house? If you're non-HiH, what hogwarts house would you consider yourself to be and why?
Hufflepuff. I'm a hard-worker, especially on the things I love.
What's something very important to you?
My friends and family. And my music.
How do you react when you're angry?
Usually I throw an angry tantrum and cry and want to hit things. Then rant to people/post on lj.
I never knew I could get mad enough to bypass the tears, but it happened recently. That was actually kind of scary - cold anger is.
Do you believe in God/Fate/a higher power?
I'm a Christian, but I struggle with it a lot. As I'm sure is normal.

Ahh wikipedia, how I love you.
It's fun to play - but very different attitude towards music than we have, so it's quote hard to get right. All the parts interlock and are supposed to sound like one melody, and the tempo changes are hard to follow sometimes XD
Heh. I tend to want to hit/throw things but I don't because I also don't like mess or breaking stuff XD
I end up throwing myself on my bed and punching my pillow...
I swear cats know if you aren't a cat person. They always make a beeline for me ... even when there is a room full of people who love cats >.>

My room's always so messy that throwing a few things around is generally an improvement, hahaha!
I know!! This one cat at my grandma's neighbor's house (lol) attached itself to me and wouldn't leave me alone! I'm allergic to cats too, so I was not pleased to be covered in cat hair...XD haha
