 It is finished!!!
That gamelan essay I was working on when I last posted, that is. 1500 words in one day, then referencing took me an entire evening. But I can put it away now, and start on the next assignment.

Before I go get organised for uni and then SLEEP (yes, small things, small minds, I know) I thought I'd do a small update. My violin is going fairly well, even though I've only been able to do small amounts of practice. I went to a concert on Saturday night with pebblegosling, because my teacher from last year is in this string quartet. What I didn't realise was that the other jazz band that was playing featured none other than my current teacher. Small music world is small. I saw her from behind first, and just went 'hey... wait....' XD
It was really good to see my old teacher again, she's so bubbly and chatty and amazing, her enthusiasm for what she does is completely infectious. I want to go back and have a few lessons with her over the holidays, it's often helpful to get different opinions - and she'd keep me motivated to practice over the long break.

I can't believe I have 3 weeks of class left for the year, and 5 weeks or so in total until I'm finished. It's going to be pretty crazy for a while, here's hoping I don't go into panic mode. I nearly did in Aural today, but meh. I'll get by. I just hate that that mark counts towards my violin performance subject.
