'One Day More'
I am content. Drinking tea and just chatting after a great afternoon/evening.
Didn't quite start off that way though. I overslept, woke up at the time I was supposed to LEAVE. Which is never good on the day of an exam. Thankfully, I had arranged to meet Ame before our exam so I was late to that instead of the exam itself. Phew.
I was pretty nervous, having done next to no work for this. It must be said, I often exaggerate when I say I haven't studied for something. This time I didn't... as Ame worked out when I hadn't even thought about the 'current news' section or anything. So we spent the time looking up some details and vocab about the volcanic eruptions in Indonesia over the past week.
Well, anywho, the exam went really well once we settled in a bit. Also, we are awesome. We managed to make all three of us collapse with laughter and have to stop the exam short. Well, ok, Ame did. She was trying to say she once played a character in a play that was like a pirate, but not a pirate. Problem is, the words for 'top/shirt' and 'pirate' are kind of similar. Guess which one she kept saying and confusing the hell out of our assessor and me? XD Hilarious.
Pak T told us we got in the Distinction range (70-79) which is brilliant. He also said that if given the chance to keep going our mark would have kept creeping higher, so we obviously just need to settle in faster.
It feels so good to have that one out of the way. 2 left next week and I'm done!
After all of this, I had a physio appointment and then we headed of to a C***** st for dinner and to go see Les Miserables arena performance that had been filmed for the 25th anniversary of the show. It was utterly amazing. So much talent, it was a bit hard to take in.
Notable mentions:
Nick Jonas - I didn't know he had started off on Broadway, and boy, was I impressed at how he pulled off 'Empty Chairs at Empty Tables'. Whoa. I had my doubts at the start (he was a bit shaky and off-key) but it was great.
Samantha Barks - Eponine, my goodness she was amazing. I'd never heard of her but she looked really familiar for some reason. The emotion she managed to put into 'On My Own' ... wow
Ramin Karimloo - played Enroljas, again, had never heard of him but his voice is love
But the best of all, naturally, was the guy who play Valjean. The chills I (and Ame and snuggle_monster) had running down my spine during 'Bring Him Home' were insane. Phenomenal.
By far the best moment though, was right at the end, after the show itself had finished. They brought out the original cast to sing a few of the songs. Colm Wilkinson has still got it. Holy shit. He's also the age his character was supposed to be while singing that song. tehehe.
And now I will leave you with videos of the last bit. Just because they're that amazing.

Oh, and Ame has offered to use her super-fast internet to download me some movies. F-list, any recommendations that should be on a 'must-watch' list?

I've only ever seen a movie version of Le Mis, never seen the musical. o_0
MOVIES!
I dunno...have you seen Bend it Like Beckham, Fifth Element, Lost in Space, The Last Unicorn, Breakfast Club, Some Kind of Wonderful, Dark Crystal...I'm just listing random movies from my favorites, I have absolutely no idea what kind of movies you watch other than Disney, haha! XD
Now I'm curious - what kinds of movies do you watch? :B

GO LISTEN! NOW! :P
Seriously, it's so amazing. And you'll know half the songs - they're that famous.
Ooh thankyou, I've only seen Bend it Like Beckham out of that list! Keep them coming if you like!
I watch a lot of stuff really. Or, I say 'oh that looks good' and never get around to it. Not keen on horror at ALL, and some action stuff I can handle, but not much.

Lol! Yeah that was my list of my favorite really weird movies, ahaha. XD You gotta see all the good 80's movies if you haven't - Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, Some Kind of Wonderful, Pretty in Pink. Young Frankenstein is HYSTERICALLY funny, if you have not seen that one SHAME ON YOU. :D
Go forth and watch movies!! ^^ hahaha
