'The simple bare necessities'

 
I am in a great mood right now. Which is amazing after the rollercoaster that was yesterday. But I'm ignoring that now =)
I had another exam today, which brings the total to 5 out of 10. HALFWAY! In number anyway, most of the ones I've done have been little ones. SHH.
Then I had the last orchestra for the year, in which we sightread Don Juan (SO MEAN. WHY SO MEAN?!) and Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun (which is love. pure love)
After that I headed out to a jazz club to see some of the uni jazz ensembles perform. A little daunting for me seeing as I was going on my own, but I knew a couple of the people playing who chatted to me for a while and kept checking on me so all was good. The music was great, I was very impressed. Particularly impressed with the tune H wrote - enjoyed it muchly.
I'm glad I went, I always find it odd that I am doing a music degree with all of these people but I never actually see them perform...
