'I Can Open Your Eyes'

 I've been a bit slack with proper posting here lately, I apologise. I've gone a little tumblr-crazy, as well as actually having some form of social life. Insane right?

On Thursday I just stayed home and... I don't even know what I did.
Friday, Good Friday, I meant to wake up to go to church - but that didn't happen. I was so annoyed at myself, actually. I pretty much just sat on the internet and did nothing until I went to go meet harpisan. It was supposed to be for an hour, but because the trains are ridiculous it ended up being 15 minutes. Which really sucked, especially as we worked out that our plans for next week might have to be cancelled entirely. I got pretty upset over this, actually, because I miss her like crazy. I hate getting that upset in public - but there was one sweet girl around my age who asked if I was okay, went off to her own platform, then rushed back before I got on my train to go home just to give me a hug. It was so sweet. 
On Saturday, I bummed around myself, did some grocery shopping, and waited for sine_animo and snuggle_monster to arrive. We watched The Princess and the Frog, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the first act of AVPM. We also managed to eat real food without having to cook (thanks to my brother!) and drank a little. All of this, naturally, lead to heart-to-hearts until 5am, at which point I accepted that I wasn't going to get to church on Sunday. There was also copious amounts of cuddling, and teasing over adding boys on fb and what-not. <3

Yesterday really did not feel like Easter. My parents are away, we didn't get any chocolate, I didn't go to church, and I spent the day procrastinating my uni work. The morning was fun though. Oh and I skyped pebblegosling! Always good =)

And that brings me to today. I meant to get up at 10, I slept in until 1. I meant to get all this work done, all I accomplished was 20 mins of practice. Better than nothing though, I think not playing for a few days has loosened me up.
I need to make my bed, and tidy my room, and then I think I'll try to sleep.

That was really sweet of that girl to give you a hug! Awww. I'm sorry you didn't get to spend as much time with your friend as you had planned. :( Hopefully you'll be able to get together again soon and this time for a lot longer!

I'm so sorry to gatecrash your journal, I did feel a little bit like I was spying but had to leave you a comment about how great the video is. Whenever I'm on LJ I catch up on all the Darren news and your entry came up on the search feed. I really hope it's OK that I commented. I'd not seen that performance of the song before and it's just amazing! It's definitely a case of drunk!darren and amazing!charlene and they're so adorable together that I ship them whole heartedly :)

I ship Klaine and am sad to say that I didn't know the awesomeness that is Darren Criss until he appeared on Glee, but have since watched and loved AVPM/S and LOVE Granger Danger. Scruffy Darren is my favourite, especially when he's singing Disney. *nods seriously*

I'm so glad. Sometimes I get comment-happy because I get all fangirly then I realise it's someones personal journal and I feel like I've turned up to a party I wasn't invited to :D. I miss the days of having my journal as open but I had someone trolling on my old one and so I made the new one friends only.

Oh drunk!darren quotes! I felt slightly ashamed that I found that whole thing funny but it's more that I find the idea of him saying it really funny. I can definitely imagine darren as being a mix of 'theneedygirldrunk' and 'theangrygirldrunk' and saying things he'll regret in the morning.

I'm in exactly the same boat - I started at Glee (obvs: preppy!Blaine is amazing)and worked backward and watched AVPM/S. I think I'm also a bit of a Lauren Lopez fangirl as well.

I'm from the UK, just finishing studying at University of Birmingham. How about you?

Omg I found it hilarious. I saw the first actual post about the conversation reblogged on tumblr and started giggling. Then I saw some of the uproar. But seriously, me and my friends have said much much worse things, stone cold sober.
So basically I read those quotes, and then saw this video, and it made my night. Him drunk is just so damn amusing.

*high-five* Kurt's my favourite character on Glee, so anyone who sang Teenage Dream at him was going to win my heart eventually. And then he himself was fricking awesome as well.

Haha it's like my LJ has a darren-centric theme going on... I think my friends from other fandoms might start abandoning me soon.

It reminded me so much of one of my guy friends as well which is why my first reaction was to laugh then I saw the whole backlash on tumblr and and LJ and I felt like I should feel guilty for thinking its funny. But he's a BOY and he's drunk and that's pretty much all the context I needed for the comment :).

I loved that in the video Charlene's kinda looking at him out of the corner of her eye with a bemused look on her face and Darren's just in his own world of glitter, drunkeness and music and looks completely blissed out...

Draco is my fav AVPM/S character... Besides Ron (but that's only because I love Joey Ricter almost as much as I love Darren)

Aww, Melbourne looks so beautiful. I planned to go there last summer on my nursing elective but ended up going to India with one of my friends instead. Oz is still very much on my wish list, tho

Umm my old ones were Prison Break and Twilight and then later on Skins as well (I still kinda love Skins). But when I fangirl something I tend to go all out and let it take over my LJ :)

It's like she just lets him get on with it and doesn't want to get in the way of his dreaminess. I was watching a random interview of Charlene talking about Darren yesterday and she was saying that he's the biggest scatterbrain and writes really long to-do lists on his arms. To me this totally sums up his adorableness.

The pictures of them dancing are so beautiful and cute.

I really want to travel all around Australia and I was really gutted I couldn't find a placement to do nursing in Melbourne because it would have been my dream to go there. India was crazyawesomehotinsane all at once but definitely an experience I wouldn't have missed for the world and one I would recommend!
